Teodora Hristova is born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. She joined the Martens Centre in October 2018. Previously, she was an environmental policy trainee at Eurocontrol. Prior to that she was a trainee at the EPP Group in the European Parliament where she assisted in the organisation of high level political events.
Teodora holds a BA degree in International Relations from the University of Groningen. She obtained her MA degree in International Relations from Leiden University, where she focused on European Union Studies. She is generally interested in European affairs and public policy, security, migration, and climate change. Apart from her native Bulgarian, Teodora is fluent in English and has intermediate knowledge of Spanish and Dutch.
