Michael Bruton recently graduated from the London School of Economics and Politics Science with an MSc in Comparative Politics. He wrote his thesis on the selection and implementation of electoral voting systems within authoritarian regimes. Prior to this, Michael completed his undergraduate degree at Trinity College Dublin.
During his studies, Michael worked for several political organisations in both the United Kingdom and Ireland. He is a former Political Intern at the LSE Polis Think Tank, a former Political Researcher for JKS Communications Ireland, and a campaign media analyst for Fine Gael during their successful election campaign in 2011. He has also been an active participant in the field of youth politics - acting as a campaign coordinator for Young Fine Gael during several presidential and parliamentary elections in Ireland.
He is a native English speaker and has a working proficiency in French. His portfolio of interests include EU Foreign Affairs, Economics, Political Parties and Elections.
