Jakub Ac joined the Martens Centre in March 2018. Formerly, he was a trainee at the European Parliament, where he worked in the office of MEP Eduard Kukan. He also interned at the Permanent Representation of the Slovak Republic to the EU, where he assisted diplomats at the level of the Political and Security Committee, specialising in the field of EU restrictive measures/sanction policy.
Jakub studied in Maastricht, where he completed his B.A. degree in European Studies and an M.A. in European Public Affairs in cooperation with the European Institute for Public Administration (EIPA). He speaks fluent Slovak, English and German, intermediate French and some Dutch and Slovenian.
