Andrea Vodanović was born in Šibenik, Croatia. She studied Marketing and Communication at the Zagreb Business School and completed a Masters in International Relations and Diplomacy at the University College ‘Dag Hammarskjöld’ in Zagreb. Since 2007 she has been working as a mentor at the Ministry of Science, Education, and Sport, and Croatian Philological Association School of Rhetoric ‘Ivo Škarić’. In 2009, as a member of Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), she was elected as the youngest representative to the Šibenik–Knin County Assembly. In 2010 she was a Robert Schuman Foundation intern in the EPP Group in the European Parliament. Over the last number of years, she has attended numerous seminars for young leaders and was part of the first Croatian delegation at the American Council of Young Political Leaders Exchange program in the USA. Andrea is fluent in Croatian and English, understands Italian and would like to learn Arabic.
