The Centre for European Studies (CES) is delighted to invite you to the launch of the latest issue of its journal, the European View. ‘Young Politics’ addresses the commitment of young people to European society. The authors provide original solutions to the challenges of intergenerational solidarity, entrepreneurship, employment, democracy and digital issues. It also illustrates that values of responsibility, human dignity, solidarity and subsidiarity remain highly relevant to young people today. The launch will focus on two discrepancies. First, while young people have the opportunity to receive high-quality education, it does not guarantee them an appropriate job. Second, a gap exists between political participation and youth representation. We will discuss some concrete solutions to bridge these gaps. The event will start with a light dinner and will be followed by a cocktail reception. To participate in the debate, please register by 21 March.
