As the economic crisis seems to be partly abating, countries in Europe are looking for ways to reshape the economic and social models in order to prevent future crises and become more competitive. The German economic and social model is attracting attention of policymakers who note Germany’s success in maintaining employment and its overall economic strength driven by exports. Are German labour market reforms and its system of social dialogue applicable elsewhere? If not, what alternative models can serve as inspiration? The Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS) and the Centre for European Studies (CES) would like to invite you to a conference to discuss these questions. We are looking forward to welcoming you and kindly ask you to respond to email@example.com by Tuesday, 11 February.
