Nathan Shepura
Nathan Shepura is a senior political adviser in Brussels. From March 2016 to September 2023 he worked at the European People’s Party, focusing on EU foreign and trade policy and on the Party’s political communications and strategy. Prior to this, he taught secondary-school English for eight years, in the US and Saudi Arabia, and earned master’s degrees in English, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and in international relations, from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. He now works in the European Parliament. The views expressed in his writings for the Martens Centre are his own, expressed in his personal capacity. He became a Martens Centre Research Associate in February 2024.
