Jyrki Katainen
Jyrki Katainen is the former Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness from 2014-2019. He joined the Commission in July 2014 as Vice-President for Economic and Monetary Affairs and the Euro. Prior to that, he served as Prime Minister of Finland from 2011 to 2014 and Minister of Finance from 2007 to 2011. He was a Member of the Finnish Parliament for the National Coalition Party (Kokoomus) from 1999 to 2014.
