EU Academy

The EU Academy, a joint initiative of the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies and the Kos Karoly Academy took place in Oradea, 8-10 December. Based around the topic “Think Global, Go Local”, the event gave young people interested in different social issues a deep insight into actual global situations. The presentations explored the issues and problems at global, EU, Romanian and Transylvanian levels, with speakers including highly respected invited experts.

The Academy has adapted its themes to youth interests and actual social challenges. Presentations covered topics such as the changing energy market, the green transition, artificial intelligence, diplomacy, war analysis, old and new challenges in public administration, as well as economic, educational and EU trends and the future of the EU enlargement.
