The Konstantinos Karamanlis Institute for Democracy (KKID) was established in January 1998. A non-profit organization, the Institute was founded for the purpose of examining and analyzing social, political and economic issues. The objective of the Institute is to contribute to the advancement of democracy, civil liberties and private enterprise, while remaining committed to development and social cohesion.
